Recreational Programs:

Our Rec program is growing! Our fearless Rec Director has been increasing our class offerings and we hope you are enjoying your season. Spring Registration opens on March 30th & March Break camp is Open for registration now!  Summer Camp Registration will be open March 1st.

In other news, Rec Director, Brooke Macaulay has just started a new 8 week training program to support our CIT’s – coach in training program. When you see Brooke in the gym remember to give her a shout out!

Competitive WAG Highlights:

Not all of you might know our Head WAG Coach Alexa Takacs… here is a little throwback that shows you what the results of hard work, determination and of course skill can do!

Our amazing WAG optional team athletes have completed their qualifiers and anxiously await their placements for Provincials.

WAG Levels 3-6

CNY2020 was the first meet of the season for our compulsory athletes. A home meet is always exciting! There were some amazing PB’s and all around scores to kick off an exciting season. MAG Program Updates

16 hour Provincial Boys

The level 3 and 4 boys had a successful competition at the second MAG Qualifier.  Some highlights of the competition were as follows:

Nicholas placed 2nd Pommel, 5th Vault, 8th on High Bar, 7th overall.

Carter placed 2nd pommel, 4th floor, 8th p-bar, 10th overall.

Will placed 2nd p-bar, 4th rings, 7th vault, 8th pommel, 8th overall.

12 Hour Provincial Boys

The level 1 and 2 boys had a great competition at the MAG Second Ontario Cup in Kitchener Waterloo.

Roxis Agate competed in the provincial level 1 category, Matteo Serluca, and Owen Shaw competed in the provincial level 2 category.

All the boys have worked very hard and will continue to prepare for the third MAG Ontario Cup in Ottawa in March!

8 Hour Interclub Boys and 4 Hour Pre-Comp Boys

These boys have been working hard on skill development, conditioning and flexibility as their competition season doesn’t begin until the spring. 

Rhythmic

The routines are finished and we are currently working on polishing for our first competitions- The Spring Blossom Invitational on April 4th and The Koop Cup on April 25th. The Koop cup is an international competition that welcomes athletes from all over the world! We are also excitedly awaiting our new individual gym suits made by Patricia Balbar!
